+++Formed: November, 2008 +++Members: Jordan Tanner - Vocals / Guitars / Piano Stephen Roberts - Drums / Backing Vocals Brandon Black - Bass Guitar +++Influences: Stone Temple Pilots, Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd +++Summary: This band's songs are written, for the most part, using a somewhat straightforward pop-rock arrangement with a focus on melodic vocals and guitars. Tanner's vocal delivery can at times be guttural and raspy, reminiscent of some alternative/grunge singers, perhaps, or at other times smooth and soaring, in the vein of Brandon Boyd or Thom Yorke. Having met in Charleston, SC while attending college, The Vincents have toured consistently since the release of their debut EP. In other outfits, singer/songwriter Tanner has opened for several well-known acts including The Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows, and The Fray.
